Which rooms are best for couples?

The Deluxe Suite is best overall for a romantic getaway, with a private entrance, whirlpool tub for two, space, and privacy.  
The Candlelight room with a decorative fireplace and whirlpool tub is great for anniversaries or a cozy weekend stay.  
The spacious Sunrise Bay Window Room offers a king bed and a garden with a view of the Gazebo. 

Do all rooms have private bathrooms?

Every guest room and cottage at the property includes its own en-suite (private) bathroom, so you don’t need to share facilities with other guests.

Which rooms sleep 4 guests?

Cottage East and Cottage West have 2 bedrooms each, a living area, and a kitchen.  The Sunrise Bay Room and Candlelight can be adjoined, and the Bay Window and Sunset Room can also be adjoined to accommodate 4 guests.  

Breakfast & Dining

Is breakfast included with every stay?

Yes, breakfast is included with every stay at the bed and breakfast. It’s served fresh each morning at your private table and is part of the standard guest experience, not an add-on.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM. On days when the number of guests exceeds seating capacity, a second seating will be at 9:30 AM.

Is breakfast homemade?

Yes, breakfast is freshly prepared each morning, not pre-made or buffet-style.  Each meal is cooked and served individually at your table, with a rotating breakfast menu that includes a hot entrée, baked item, and fresh fruit.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Yes, dietary restrictions can often be accommodated with advance notice. Guests are encouraged to let the inn know ahead of time so meals can be planned accordingly.

Policies & Reservations

What time is check-in/check-out?

Normal check-in time is between 3 pm and 7 pm. Special arrangements can be made with advance notice. Check-out time is by 11 am.

What is your cancellation policy?

As a small business, cancellations can have a significant impact, and we appreciate your understanding of the following policy:  A one-night deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Cancellations are subject to a $25 fee per room. Reservations canceled within two weeks of arrival are charged in full. If the room is re-booked for the full stay, a refund will be issued minus the $25 fee.

Are children allowed at After Eight B&B?

After Eight Bed & Breakfast is designed as a relaxing getaway for adults. For this reason, the minimum age for all accommodations is 12 years old.

Does After Eight Bed & Breakfast accommodate pets?

No, we cannot accommodate pets at our B&B

Gift Certificates

How are After Eight gift certificates delivered?

Gift certificates are delivered by email after payment is received. They can be sent to you or directly to the recipient.

What can an After Eight gift certificate be used for?

Gift certificates can be used online for stays, add-ons, and gift shop purchases.

Can I print the gift certificate?

Yes. The email includes a certificate attachment that can be printed for in-person gifting or mailing.
