Robert and June Hall are not only new to being bed and breakfast owners, they are also new to Lancaster, PA. Both Robert and June are excited about finding ways to please their guests and making their stay pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable.
Robert ran his own business in Washington, DC for 30 years and was a native of Maryland all his life until he moved to Pennsylvania's Amish Country. Robert especially loves the outdoors and cannot get over having open farmland right out his back door. He has also been a significant influence on his two sons encouraging them both in hiking, backpacking and cycling. He is already anticipating cycling the rolling hills in the nearby rural farmland. Experimenting and adjusting recipes and baking special sweet treats for guests is just one way Robert enjoys surprising and pleasing guests.
June is originally from Arlington Virginia, going to college in upper New York and graduate school in Montana. June forfeited her career in environmental science and instead became a stay at home mom raising their four children. June’s personality and enthusiasm to please guests is evident on your first contact with her. Don’t forget to ask about her famous holiday fudge. There might even be a piece or two still hiding in the cupboard.
June presently manages a second home in Maryland, while their youngest son Jeffrey is finishing his senior year in high school. You will see June almost every weekend and expect to see one or two of their children helping out around the inn, from time to time, serving breakfast or doing chores around the yard.
All of the members of the Hall family have energetic and enthusiastic personalities, and love to intermingle with people. Their goal is to make your vacation enjoyable and memorable.
They invite you to Pennsylvania Dutch country to experience the relaxation and comfort of lodging at After Eight Bed and Breakfast. This really is Paradise! |
